FutureSteps is a shared value initiative established by Lendlease to help address homelessness and rising levels of housing stress in Australia. The initiative builds on the belief that all Australians have the right to a safe and secure home. By providing grant funding and hands-on assistance to established expert not-for-profit organisations, we’ll work to help prevent those suffering housing stress from falling into homelessness. We’ll also provide vulnerable and disadvantaged Australians in our communities with the tools they need to find a path to independence.
FutureSteps will support established charities and community organisations to deliver shelter and housing projects, including support services, as well as skilling, training and jobs programs. We’ll do this via financial contributions and skilled assistance. This means funding and supporting initiatives that seek to provide relief where it will make the most difference.
We’ll support community organisations that provide housing and support services, job training and employment opportunities. Lendlease will aim to engage its employees to contribute to FutureSteps, through the commitment of time, skills, in-kind support or direct donation.
All contributions to FutureSteps of $2 and over are tax-deductible.
