GriefLine Community & Family Services

GriefLine Community & Family Services provides those experiencing loss and grief in its many manifestations, the opportunity to share their story with someone who will listen, care and provide support.

Programs include a 1300 helpline, on-line counselling, face to face counselling for bereavement, family violence, relationship and child therapy, and is the only Iranian/Afghan counselling service and Somali helpline.

Having supported GriefLine form more than seven years, Murrumbeena Community Bank® Branch is now partnering with Community Enterprise Foundation™ to generate support for existing services, and for a National roll-out across Australia.

Currently Victoria is partially funded. Queensland, South Australia, New South Wales, ACT and Tasmania are not funded, but will continue to be supported for as long as possible. Services to Western Australia and Northern Territory are soon to be launched with your help.

We know that early intervention helps to prevent long-term emotional damage that may result in isolation and mental health issues.
